The
Hippica Varsovia Spring Slide reining show is already history. On
Sunday afternoon the name of the winner was announced. With a composite
score of 131,5 points, Aleksander Jarmula on a 7-years-old palomino
stallion Miles O Rima won the show.
Promotion
After
the first day of the competition Martina Doritke from Germany placed
two of her horses on two first places. With the 4-years-old stallion
Flip N Rooster (by Gallo Del Cielo) she scored 66,5 points. Her
second horse, 11-years-old Appaloosa mare Zips Amber Flame, came
only a half point behind. Aleksander Jarmula (Poland) came third
with 64,5 points. Oliver Manczak, Karol Bryla (both from Poland)
and Ivan Cernoch (Czech Rep.) followed. Ivan Cernoch can speak of
bad luck - he has all qualities required for great runs. Unfortunately
a turn during the back up resulted in a 0-score.
On Sunday everyone was looking on heavy clouds gathering over the arena.
The weather showed no mercy for the spectators and riders. It started
raining when the fifth horse entered the arena. Happily the rain wasn't
strong enough to cancel the show.
Martina
Doritke on Zips Amber Flame entered the arena as the first rider of
the second go. She scored 63 points, which gave her a composite score
of 129 points. Second to perform the pattern 5 was Aleksander Jarmula.
A much better run that on the first day (67 points) gave him the lead
(composite score of 131,5 points). We had to wait for Martina Doritke
and Flip N Rooster to determine the winner of the show. Five spins made
by Martina resulted in a 0-score. The other riders didn't managed to
take the lead from Aleksander Jarmula. He won the show with a composite
score of 131,5 points. In third place was Oliver Manczak on a 7-years-old
Paint Horse mare Jetalitios Lightning.
Unfortunately
problems with the arena's footing (in spite of the horsefair's organizers
assurance) didn't allowed the riders to show all their skills. Injuries
of three horses had also a negative effect on the attractivness of the
show. But a first step towards joining the European reining community
by Poland was made.
